The Middle East is an area where automobile is king and fuel is inexpensive, often leaving little reward to discover more environmentally-friendly methods of moving.
But this year, as demonstrations throughout the Middle East have risen the cost of oil, the concern of finding alternative sources of fuel has come into sharp focus.
In an area that has one of the highest carbon footprints in the world, one company is benefiting from the growing pressure to find options to oil. It's established the Middle East's very first plan to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's proving profitable too, currently their client-list includes McDonald's.
